It's Friday!

I'm so happy that it's finally Friday! I have to pay some attention to my garden this weekend...I think it's feeling a little lonesome and in need of attention :(

Here are some pictures I took a little while back. This year I'm growing 4 different varieties of tomatoes: Tommy Toe (a red cherry), Lollipop (a yellow cherry), Green Grape and Sungold (an orange cherry). The Sungold are my favorite and will definitely be coming back next season. There's also some eggplant, peppers and some herbs that you can see in these pictures.

I'm also planning on working on some digi papers this weekend...so there should be a little freebie coming your way soon ;)

Spring has arrived!

A few of my favorite things...

As far as new things to report....I have a garden this year!  I have 4 different types of tomatoes, eggplant, peppers, broccoli, lettuce, spinach and some herbs (basil, oregano, cilantro and rosemary).  I'll have to post some pictures.  It keeps me fairly busy...you know, when I'm not at my full time job or spending time with my husband and kids or scrapping or doing some other crafty project! 

Not sure when I'm going to wear them but I love these boots!  They just make me happy...just what I need for rainy days :) 

Well, hello there!

Yes, yes I know.  It's been a while....a long while.  We've been busy over here at our household and somehow the year has just flown by.  I went to Costco today just to grab a few things and guess what greeted me when I walked in?   A flashing LED snowman....yes, Costco has holiday merchandise and it's barely September!! 

So everyone has their Halloween costumes right?  Oh, oh...better get moving and figure out what my kids are going to dress up as this year :) 

Preparations....

I don't know about yours, but my household is buzzing with activity in preparation for tomorrow.  My husband is the chef and the kitchen right now looks like a war zone...but it will all be worth it tomorrow!  Siblings are in town and we're all getting together to eat some turkey.  We're very thankful to be blessed with a wonderful family, health and great friends.  I'm making my maple walnut pumpkin cheesecake - DELISH!!  That is the highlight of my Thanksgiving meal ;)  Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
